Jaime Handley

My name is Jaime Handley and I am a Burke County native of 44 years.  After I graduated from Appalachian State University, I went on to pursue a career in teaching for 15 years. While I enjoyed my time in the classroom, I’m so excited to continue to pursue my passion for helping people by joining Mimosa Christian Counseling Center!  I am blessed with 3 sons, ages 13, 15, and 16, so I stay busy!  When I’m not hiking or traveling with my boys, I enjoy reading, knitting, and going to thrift stores.  An interesting fact about me is that I won a writing contest from The Ellen Degeneres Show and was featured on her show in 2010!  My family and I are very blessed, and I look forward to serving the Morganton Community through my new role as the Outreach and Community Development Associate with MCCC.
