Fees & Funding

Fees and Insurance:

Mimosa Christian Counseling Center is funded through client fees and grants, as well as private and public donations. We also accept certain health insurance, including Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina,* The North Carolina State Health Plan, MedCost, Primary PhysicianCare, Acordia, and DirectNet.

Client fees are an important part of the income of Mimosa Christian Counseling Center. If you plan to use your health insurance benefits to pay your fee, please contact your insurance company. You may go online or call the telephone number on the back of your insurance card to see if mental health services are covered and to obtain prior approval if this is required by your plan. You must bring your insurance card to your first session and any time there is a change in your insurance coverage.

If Mimosa Christian Counseling Center is in your insurance network, we will file your insurance for you, and you will be responsible for your deductible, copay, or any coinsurance that might apply. If our Center is not in your network, please check with your insurance carrier to see if you have out-of-network benefits.

Your portion of treatment fees helps maintain our Center and the services it provides to the community. The Center staff will gladly work with you on an individualized payment schedule if needed.
